Death Becomes Her: Leading Ladies of Day of the Dead

One of my favourite holidays, Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos) is a wonderfully chaotic mix of colours, emotions, and beliefs. It is a humour-filled celebration of ‘la vida’, and also a nostalgic reminder of those we have lost.

It is a wonderfully macabre occasion, and among those who are most highly honored are some of Mexico’s most influential female figures.

Check out my guest post on TRAVELETTES for more on these lovely leading ladies of Day of the Dead.

  1. There is more information about skulls, including mexican coloring skulls that skulls fans might want to visit in order to print and allow their children to use for coloring:

    Skulls Drawings and More

People may think it’s nuts to be a skull fan, but only we skulls fans can understand this passion.
