About

-A perpetual wanderette with a penchant for most things quirky, vintage, whimsical, mysterious, eccentric, nostalgic, and bohemian. – (Also, really likes to list things).-

Greetings and Salutations!

Some things you should know about me:

I’m as curious as a cat (or George if you prefer), and fancy myself a bit of an adventuress.  I’ve ridden atop runaway horses, jumped off a mountain, survived a tiger attack, rubbed shoulders with the rich and famous, and swam with sharks.  To know more about these tall tales (all technically true), you’ll have to peruse this blog. They may, or may not have been written yet.

While to some my nomadic (and somewhat haphazard) life may seem unconventional, frankly my dear I don’t give a damn. Convention, shmonvention. I am a firm believer of the ‘Follow Your Bliss’ philosophy.

I have been living as an expat on and off (mostly on) since 2000 with a lot of side trips along the way.

I am a sporadic English teacher,  freelance writer, and self-taught (and forever learning) photographer but have done anything from driving a horse carriage to selling turquoise to fund my wandering ways.

I tend to gravitate towards anything charming, unique, or offbeat and thrive on wonderfully bizarre or quirky experiences. I also love a good festival, (and parenthesis apparently).

By sharing my collections of snapshots, random musings, and cultural curios that I’ve procured along the way, I hope to provide mild amusement-and who knows-maybe even inspiration.
